Anyone visiting Nerja will find a day out in the nearby village of Frigiliana an absolute must. Frigiliana is a village set in the hills above the Costa del Sol 300m above sea level and is a typical Andalucian white village or Pueblo Blanco.
Frigiliana has long winding streets of cobbled stones that wind in and out of the village and hide many a trasure.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Frigiliana as well as shops selling tourist gifts and Andalucian handcraft items.
Try the local Malaga wine, it's sweet, like sherry and very warming. The tapas are also very good and well worth trying. El capistrano can supply any additional information you need for your visit to Frigiliana. Just ask at the reception.
