Requirements for a tourist visa:

EFFECTIVE June 15, 2010:  The honorary Consulate will no longer process visa applications.  Those applications henceforth should go to Ottawa.

PLEASE NOTEThe visa application form hosted at the Embassy website has out-of-date information -- there is no Honorary Consulate of Nepal on Bay Street, and the Toronto honorary consulate does not, repeat, does not issue visas.

If you send your passports or travel documents to 1200 Bay Street, you will be responsible for getting them back, and for any delays in your trip.  There will be no visas issued from Toronto.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE:  Tourist visas are also issued to Western passport holders at various Nepalese border posts (though not every one), including the international airport in Kathmandu.

Please also note:  The information available at this website is intended to supersede any and all Toronto contact information available at various other sites.

The Consulate regrets any confusion that potential tourists, students, and aid workers have experienced when they have sent their documents to other addresses.
