Convoy of Hope is a non-profit organization that mobilizes, trains and resources organizations and churches to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of those needing support in their community. Since 1994, Convoy of Hope has partnered with local communities to conduct over 400 outreaches across the United States.

The Northeast Ohio Convoy of Hope event will take place at the Lake County Fairgrounds and will reach out to 3,000-5,000 Honored Guests from throughout Lake County who need a helping hand. This effort will utilize nearly 1,000 volunteers, distribute over 35,000 lbs. of groceries and provide other humanitarian services. Get involved and make a real difference in the lives of others.

The poverty rate in Lake County has increased since 2000, moving from 5.1 percent in 2000 to 8.3 percent in 2007.

Hundreds of families seek emergency assistance every day for help with basic necessities.
