Graduate Student Caucus : here were the activities which you want to attend as well as others that the Graduate Caucus are sponsoring at the 42nd NeMLA conference in New Brunswick, NJ.

1) Special workshop & luncheon

We would like to bring to your attention the different workshops and events organized by NeMLA during the Convention in Brunswick this April, which may be of interest to many of us, in particular during the initial years of our academic careers. I especially urge to check out the following workshops:

1) Adapting Your Syllabus for Different Campuses, and

2) Academic Publishing in the Next Decade: Navigating Change, Seizing

In the meantime, I take this opportunity to invite you to join several Grad Students events. Your active participation in the Graduate Caucus will ensure a Caucus attentive and in synergy with its members. The events are fun and a great way to meet colleagues from all over the U.S. and several other countries!

2) Thursday April 7th: Graduate Caucus opening events

A) Graduate Student Meet-and-Greet.

Come meet other grad students and learn ways to get involved in the NeMLA Graduate Caucus. 

RDV in the Hyatt Registration area at 6:15pm.

B) Graduate Caucus Welcome Reception.

Enjoy drinks, appetizers and good conversation at Doll's Place, 101 Paterson Street, www.dollsplacerestaurant.com

Meet in the Hyatt Registration area 8:30pm to walk over there together.

3) Saturday April 9th, 2011: Graduate Caucus Meeting & Social Dinner

A) Graduate Student Caucus Business Meeting

All graduate students are encouraged to participate. The Graduate Caucus plays an important role in providing scholarships, travel grants and publication opportunities to students. Thus, your presence and ideas are urgently needed. Come join us at Hyatt Regency. Salon B, from 6:30pm - 7:45pm.
 
B) Graduate Student Caucus Dinner

This is an additional important social even which follows the business meeting in which we have further opportunity to get to know each other, have some relaxing moments and establish ourselves in a community. Tumulty's Pub, 361George Street.

Meet in the Hyatt registration area at 8:00pm to walk over together.
