Welcome! We will be using this website for the remainder of the semester in order to keep everyone up to date on HRDSA activities. Our official NEIU web space should be ready by the beginning of the spring semester. Important dates, contact info for officers, and other applicable info is below. If you have not yet joined the HRDSA and would be interested in doing so, please contact Brad Minor or Frank Gonzalez. We'll add your name to the roster. Latest News: 10/24/09: In an effort to assist HRDSA students with their networking efforts, we are putting together a delegation to attend the upcoming CCASTD Christmas Party on December 3, 2009. We hope you will consider joining your fellow HRDSA members, along with professionals from CCASTD, The Society of Human Resource Professionals (SHRP), and The Staffing Management Association of Greater Chicago (SMA), for some holiday fun. This is a great opportunity to make important professional connections. Visit this link for more information: http://ccastd.org/update/october/ 10/6/09: We have redesigned and de-cluttered our temporary site. Please see the important note about funding on the MWR2P page. Also, please note the changes on our calendar. 9/23/09: We have put in room requests and funding requests for all of this semester's events, as planned in our initial meeting. We have also put in a request for space to meet once more in early December (a casual spring planning meeting). Details will be added to this page as they arrive. We have requested NEIU web space and an NEIU e-mail address. For now, please contact the club at this address: NEIUHRDSA@gmail.com. You can also contact the officers with any questions, but all officers can access this address, and it also auto-forwards to Brad's personal account, so it's probably the easiest way for you to get a quick response. Frank is contacting the speaker we are after for our evaluation workshop, and Brad is trying to figure out what we can do in the spring for our performance analysis workshop (requested by Bridget) and our OD workshop (Phenil may be able to help with this one). If anyone has a good idea or a hook-up with a potential speaker/panelist, please e-mail Brad or Frank. |
