The very stylish Neena calls New Delhi, India her hometown. Though, she was born in Pune, she traveled the length and breath of the country and also lived in many exotic places. Her love for travel and exploring the world has taken her to more than 131 citi cities in 22 countries.  

From a very young age Neena started performing and loved the limelight. She began modeling while she was still in school for a designer. One thing led to another and the rest is history.  

The multi faceted Neena is not only beauty but brains too. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising & Public Relations from the prestigious Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. There she received Awards for being a topper and an outstanding student. 

Her talent has won her accolades and has been recognized internationally. Amongst other things, Neena's art is showcased on The Amazing Race Asia, Season 3 and she is also the first ever artist in Asia to be chosen for this reality TV show.

She inherits her flair for art from her mother and grandmother. Both women are artists and art came naturally as lessons began early and at home. At 16, Neena started learning Oils to master her craft.  

Neena's art reflects her love of bright colours and bizarre combinations, some real and others mysterious. She draws inspiration from people and places, some regular others exotic. Her wanderlust has taken her many places far and wide. And through these journeys she has imbibed new ideas, shapes, themes, and colours that translate into pieces of art. She is influenced by the Abstract Impressionist and Abstract Expressionist movements.

Each painting in her collection, with its atypical colours and shapes, summons the viewer into imaginative worlds, both strange and familiar. Neena believes that her art is an endeavor to fulfill the innate human need for mystery, serenity and beauty. Every colour and its combination has a philosophy behind it; nothing is random or without meaning.

From New York to New Delhi, her art is housed with private collectors and individuals alike.

5th December, Abu Dhabi

The recent attacks on Mumbai (26/11) has really shaken India. The blood, the carnage, and the tragedies have been too much for some of us to handle. 

Everywhere on TV, I see talks of 'CHANGE'. Change in terms of policy. Change in terms of what the government should to. Change in how to safeguard ourselves. All of India is 'talking' of change. But I did not want to be a 'talker' any more. I wanted to be a DOER. 

I spent 3 days being glued to the TV and watching in horror how the terrorists took India hostage (26-28). When the flights opened, I went to Mumbai and saw for myself the aftermath. It took me 3 days to get out of the fury, rage, anger, and sadness that had engulfed my being. And by the 3rd of December, I knew what I had to do in order to make a change - HELP.
