Marriage for All or Marriage for None?

Homosexual marriage is a controversial topic in California. Many people believe that homosexuals should not have the right to be married. Yet there are others who argue that there should be equal rights for all who want to be married, gay, lesbian, or straight. To satisfy all parties involved, homosexuals and heterosexuals, marriage should be completely abolished within the United States.

With matrimony gone, the gay population would be on equal grounds with the straight population in California, nor would the straight population’s morals be infringed upon. Judgment of the gays would be extinguished along with marriage. Straight people would not be allowed to pass said judgment about marriage and domestic partnership since it would not exist anymore. Complete invalidation of touching or sexual endeavors would help anyone, gay or straight, in obeying the Bible to make it fair for the religious individuals. This would then make it impossible for a Christian woman to be naturally fertilized, decreasing the population. With matrimony being terminated, it would lead to only positive outcomes for the United States and the world.

With the abolition of marriage people will not have to worry about divorces, widowing, the traumatizing effects on the children, or adultery. By divorce (and common law) becoming extinct, separation of the relationship would be easier since neither party would have to spend money for lawyer fees, or alimony. Observers find that children of the divorced parents become affected20by the detachment and may have problems in years to come. Moreover, the termination of marriage will prevent children from having to deal with the effects of divorce.  Without marriage, children will grow up with the knowledge that it is completely acceptable for their biological parents to have little personal contact with one another.  If we eliminate marriage, there is no reason for a child to grow up with both parents, as traveling to two different homes can become difficult. In fact separating children from their opposite sexed parent might be the right course of action. If sons lived with their fathers and daughters with their mothers, correct gender roles will be taught to these children. This will prepare them for their roles as productive adults when they grow up. Thus having no marriage, will prepare future generations for their roles and correct “places” in society.

Marriage overall is good in theory, but in practice it does not work well for the United States. There are too many violent protests, debates, and murders over this issue,=2 0and all of this madness needs to be stopped. With the institution of marriage, one, of any race, sexual orientation, or culture, can breathe freely. There will be no more protests, debates, etc. Therefore, there will only be world of love, which has no limits.
