This is the download map from Iran. During last month (30 days) we had 65 visitors from Iran. Since gerdab spies are mostly located in Tehran, this highly disperse visitor location shows some wrong target group visiting our site. Please DO NOT RUN the application from inside Iran for your security. Dear friends please do not run this program from inside Iran for two reasons: - It is very easy to obtain your IP (sort-of internet address) information once you attack a site. If you run this program from inside Iran, it will be easy to find your geographical location through your ISP (internet service provider).
- The Internet speed from inside Iran is usually very low. In order to have a successful attack we need to highly occupy the bandwidth on the server and consume its resources. Moreover, most of the servers are located outside Iran so your help cannot be effective.

Finally version 4! :)
Without any doubt the changes are not just limited to the user interface. Version 4 comes with a whole lot of new features: - Good news for Macintosh users: JDK 5 compatibility!
- Site specific attack list
- Colored site status
- Attack error indicator
- Prioritized URL list
- Simpler user interface
- Lighter download size
We removed the twitter module as it increased the size of the program unnecessarily. The size of the application is drammatically. The source code is ready to be released. With just 2 class files, it's very easy to understand and change. But we are still debating about how to release the code so that the government agents will not produce a fake copy to spy on users. Share the worldDDoS attacks need many people to attack the sites at the same time. Please spread the world about this software or any other attack method you know. We have to be organized on the attacks we make. For now, Gerdab.ir and Farsnews are the high priority targets. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT HACKERS OR CYBER CRIMINALS. AFTER FREEING IRAN, WE WILL ALL CELEBRATE THE VICTORY TOGETHER. Why "L"?The letter L in the version number stands for Lite. This version is rewritten from the beginning to consume less resources and to be even more efficient. The download size is also dramatically reduced by removing redundant libraries and source codes.
Just like always, keep us informed of your opinions: |

Another developer(s) have created a fake copy of Nedasites and claim that it has been downloaded 43000 time in a few hours. Please don't run that program as we cannot test its legitimacy. They even copied the name of our software and called their malicious product "Neda"!!!
Here is a small open letter that we wrote on their website condemning this fake activity:
Check their site (through an anonymity proxy)

( Source) They claim that a team of Canadian and American hackers did the job! :D The report also claims that FBI is supporting the hackers (Oh, my God, I hope it doesn't mean our DDoS team!) ;)
PS. This site also offers a software download to attack the sites, but it's an unusually huge executable written in Adobe Flash!!! We believe that it's fake or a trojan virus. |

...But potentially there are repercussions for those using the internet as a broadcast tool. One of the things that the internet has in any country is deep-pocket protection software, which allows governments to trace certain things online. They can trace the use of child pornography or terrorist chatter. The Iranians use fairly standard technology given to them by Western communications firms like Nokia and Siemens to try and trace the IP addresses of people sending these messages. It appears there have been some arrests of people who have been found using the internet. Authorities are going through online messages and will be going through them for some months to try and trace the source of the messages. So, if a message was sent from an internet cafe, you are probably OK. But if it is sent from a private home, authorities can potentially track that down. This has a lot of people inside Iran worried. But the world is watching, and when atrocities were committed in public, people have been able to video it on their mobile phones and get that vision out. That cannot be done for people who are in jail or who are being beaten in their own homes. But Iranians can still show the world the extent of the crackdown that is going on and some of the more egregious examples of it. There is an ongoing political struggle inside Iran. The leadership is split between those who support President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and those who believe that he is a liability or the election was rigged. The continuous twittering and sharing of information is keeping the protests alive and an issue, even though they are not happening, on the streets. The regime knows it cannot afford to completely ignore what is going on; it cannot just put it aside. There is a pressure coming from the people which is going to affect that political struggle at the highest levels.

No special functionality is added in this version. Just some Look and Feel improvements! While A&K were coding, I found some time to add a logo and some instruction for Uninstall/Reinstall/Upgrade. Quite late here. Gonna sleep now. |
