Installation
Please see Download page for installation instructions.
This small application doesn't need to be installed, just download it and it should work immediately when double click the Nedasites.jar file. This application is written in Java language, therefore your computer should be able to run Java. How do you know if it can run Java? It is simple! :-) If you download the application and click on it, but nothing happens, then you need Java. It is freely available through SUN Microsystem's Java website. Look for the latest version of JRE (Java Runtime Environment) and install it.

Macintosh

A note for Macintosh users: NedaSite requires Java 6, but java 6 is not the default one in OS X. To set it as your default you need to run the Java Preferences application it is under: Open -> Applications -> Utilities -> Java -> Java Preferences or just simply look for it in spot light. Once you have chosen Java 6 as your default java then you can start nedasite. Happy attacking. Here is more information...

Running

Click on the "Attack" button and leave the program open. Please notice that in order for it to be an effective attack we need to continue it for as long as possible. Please invite your friends so that we have more attackers around the world.

Reinstall/Upgrade

Just download the latest zip file and do the step 1&2 of installation above!
If you like, you can simply delete the old versions from your computer to save space.
If you like to have your URL list and Settings in the new version, just copy url.txt and config.ini to the new installation location and confirm rewrite! The newer version should be backward compatible, but if it didn't work, reinstall the application (extract the zip file again) and this time just copy url.txt it should be safe! ;-)

Uninstall

This program actually doesn't install any component on your computer. Just remove the downloaded .zip file and the directory that you have Uncompressed your files to (step 1&2 of the Installation process).  :-) I hope we have won the war by the time you are doing this!

Tricks

  1. If you want to overload a website heavier, add more URLs from that specific site. Finding new URLs is easy, just right click on the links on their website and choose "Copy Link Location" or "Copy Shortcut".
  2. Clicking on the status bar at the top of the screen offers you the option to reset counters.
  3. Attack Interval time, is the delay between two consecutive attacks. A smaller interval will result in a heavier attack. But if you want to save some of your bandwidth for your other tasks, choose a longer interval.
