Mission Statement:
The mission of the Elite Player Academy is to provide technical and tactical instruction in the game of soccer and to provide competitive youth soccer opportunities that enhance character, community and love of the game for each and every player within the EPA.
Elite Player Academy Goals:
- To create an environment where individuals will have fun and develop a passion for the game of soccer.
- Provide the technical and tactical background that will allow individuals to develop and compete to their fullest potential.
- Expose academy players to the best training environment in Nebraska so that players can be placed in an environment that meets their competitive need and desire.
What does the EPA offer?The EPA is designed for youth soccer players in Lincoln and surrounding communities and will facilitate training and competition to the following groups based on skill level and level of commitment:
- Developmental EPA (Beginning in 2012)
- Pre-EPA for boys and girls in the U10 through U4 age groups
- EPA (Teams may be formed for the 2012-13 Season)
What are the expectations of EPA players and parents?
- Enjoy the game! Play soccer with passion!
- Use the EPA environment to develop character!
- Develop a sense of community by respecting the game and supporting all EPA players, parents, and coaches!
- Expect all lines of communication to be open but allow coaches/trainers uninterrupted time with the players during training and games.
