Details:
A series of film screenings in the Twin Cities that celebrates the long tradition of the Japanese motion picture. Every Saturday, during the months of June, July, and August, will feature two Japanese films, blending the classic and the contemporary.
Screenings are free and open to the public. All films will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles.

This year, at our booth at the Como Park Japanese Lantern Lighting Festival:
・NDJ will explain [or present about] "Obon," the Japanese traditional festival for ancestors' souls.
・Origami Plaza: You can learn and practice the art of Japanese traditional paper folding.
・We will hold a photo exhibition of the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami.
・A donation box for Japan earthquake and tsunami relief will be available. All proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
・There will also be donation box for Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bomb relief. Proceeds will go to the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki respectively.
