-dimensional Japan (NDJ) is a non-profit registered organization at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Our group is devoted to the study, research, and promotion of Japanese culture to help contribute to cultural diversity in Minnesota. 

Throughout the year, NDJ organizes academic and educational events, seminars, and workshops on a wide variety of topics related to Japanese culture and traditions in order to provide an open forum of intellectual and cultural exchange to all who are interested in Japan.

Presentation Opportunity
We are currently looking for lecturers who would like to present and share topics related to Japan or Japanese culture. Presentations may be in English or Japanese. Anyone who is knowledgeable and passionate is welcome to be a speaker. Please show us your dimension!

Poster Presentation Opportunity
We offer poster presentations about Japanese culture to all attendees in our monthly eventsTheme is anything about Japan. Suggested themes are Japanese art, Japanese food, Japanese architecture, Japanese martial arts, Japanese movie, Japanese animation, Japanese manga, J-pop, your journey in Japan, etc.

Announcement

On March 11, a huge 9.0 earthquake and subsequent tsunami hit Japan, causing widespread destruction.We at N-dimensional Japan are all shocked and deeply saddened by the tragedy that has befallen Japan.

The Journeys of JAPAN
The first part of our two workshop & seminar events in February, "The Journeys of Japan", is coming on this Friday, February 17. Invited lecturers and NDJ officers will present seminars on Final Fantasy X, Setsubun, High-tech Toilet, and Study Abroad of Japanese Students.

The Elegance of JAPAN
