Welcome to the September 14-15, 2010 NCVPS/LEO Retreat

The NCVPS/LEO staff face 2 face in Raleigh!!!

NCVPS/LEO Retreat to be held at beautiful NC State Textiles Bldg. on September 14-15, 2010

The College of Textiles comprises four separate structures which define the resulting courtyard. Circulation within and around the structure was the organizing factor in the design of the building, resulting in open arcades with the Shuttle Inn, a food service facility opening into the courtyard. An atrium and library provide an opportunity for corporate members to interact with students.

Windows on the ground level allow visitors to view textile equipment and activities as they pass by from outside. These features contribute to the campus planning goal of NC State: to create a campus in which needed services are provided within a pedestrian-oriented environment. This complex contains a Model Manufacturing Center, library, administrative facilities and teaching, research and outreach programs.
