3 Legged Dana

Dana was diagnosed with bone cancer (osteosarcoma) on March 15th 2007.

In order to slow the spread of cancer, we had to remove her front right leg on March 26th.

This is our first visit just 24 hrs after the surgery.

We were able to bring her home in just two days. Here are some pics right after we got home:

She's up and walking around just fine. She was actually pulling me on her leash! The missing leg doesn't seem to affect her at all. Below are some videos we made 3 days after surgery.
