Overwhelmed yet? Between all the kids projects and papers that have come flying home, here are a few more announcements that will interest you!

Flower Bulb sales have been extended until Friday - don't wait! These bulbs will be delivered in a few weeks ready for planting. In the Spring you will have gorgeous new flowers. Easy fun - they're guaranteed to grow.  Additional flyers are available at the school Main Office desk.

Cupcake Challenge - All the kids will be talking about this! Share this news with your children and mark Nov. 5, Saturday, as a day for NCMS. To challenge some of our students' other skills and interests, let's see which student team can bake and decorate the best cupcakes. There will be two stages to the competition: cupcakes coming from home submitted for both taste and appearance, and cupcakes decorated at school under time pressure with materials supplied by local bakeries and artisans. Teams should register now using the PTO registration form attached (a team can be a single person or up to five students). One parent advisor should be identified per team. The Cupcake Challenge rules will be shared in a future e-mail.

Vendor Fair - The same day as our Cupcake Challenge, NCMS PTO will stage a vendor fair from 9AM-3PM. Parents interested in vendor space should contact Patty Lambrou at ptlambrou@cox.net.

Drama Club - Please turn in your registration form for this year's Drama Club. Classes start Friday, Oct 14. Space is limited this year so be early! See attached...

First PTO Meeting - 7PM, Wednesday, October 12 in the school library. Going forward, the meetings will be on the second Wednesday night of each month (we used to have them on Tuesday nights but had to switch).
