All parents, teachers, and interested community members are welcome and encouraged to attend our meetings. Your input is always appreciated, and your children will reap the benefits.  By staying involved, we show our children how important school is.

NCMS PTO provides many opportunities for parents and teachers to get involved.  We support almost all of the activities that go on at the middle school in some way, yet our role is not as complex as at an elementary school level.  We lend a helping hand whenever teachers or admin have a need.  While we may organize an in-school event, most often we provide monetary support for the various activities at school and after-school, and help fund some portion of every field trip to make them affordable for our kids. We also fund and administer a grant program for teachers' and admin needs and promote Box Tops for Education. 

How can you help?

You will hear from us directly as we try to raise funds to help with all these programs. You will also hear from us as we reach out to recruit volunteers to help with various events and activities. We are always looking for volunteers; no matter how much/how little time you have, we welcome you and can use your help! We always need volunteers: to sell refreshments at dances (throughout the year); to help with the challenging contests and refreshments for Teacher Appreciation Week (May); to sell books at the library's book fair (January); to plan and run 8th Grade Graduation (June); and to have fun with Field Day (June). 

Offer us half-an-hour or several hours; we would greatly appreciate your help!
