The following information is about the transportation service (taxi/cab or limo) from two Chicagoan airports to the lodging hotel “Oak Brook Hills Marriott.”

One-way flat rate service from two Chicagoan airports to the hotel:

(1)  O'Hare  - $26.00

(2)  Midway - $32.00

* $2.00 for each additional passenger 

Procedures: 

1.  Pickup your luggage first at the baggage claim area.

2.  Then, call American Taxi at 847-253-1676.  OR, use the courtesy phones which are located on the Hotel/Transportation advertisement board or touch screen kiosks located in the baggage areas  at the luggage pick-up level of the airport.

3.  Tell the operator which airport you are at (O'Hare or Midway) and the Hotel address is “Oak Brook Hills Marriott, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook.”

4.  The operator will assign you a taxi number and the driver who is picking you up will have your name. 

5.  Exit doors from
(1) O'Hare Airport -- Lower Level Baggage Areas

* Terminal 1 - Door G

* Terminal 2 - Door E

* Terminal 3 - Door G

* Terminal 5 - Door E (International Terminal) 

(2) Midway Airport -- Door LL2

6. Exit the door specified, and go to the center lane marked "Pre-arranged" passenger pickup.

7. Look for the American Taxi logo (on the upper right window shield)

* Important:  only get into the taxi displaying the number that has been assigned to you.  

* Usually about 5 to 15 minutes from the time you call to the time the taxi arrives to pick you up, depending on traffic conditions inside the airport.

8. After your arrival at the hotel, pay the taxi driver by cash or major credit cards.  A 10% tip would be appropriate.

The City of Chicago Airports strictly forbids any curbside solicitation of passengers. The Taxicabs going to the City of Chicago "stage" at each terminal. While city cabs are a quick departure opportunity, they will charge "meter and a half" if your destination is outside the city limits, to the suburbs. This is compensation for the fact that that cab has almost no way of riding back to the airport with a fare - the driver is on a one-way trip. It would, therefore, be very expensive, besides the driver might not be familiar with routes.

All suburban cabs are operated as pre-arranged rides, or dispatched rides. The suburban taxis are called to the terminals for a specific passenger(s). Once you have collected your luggage, please call and a taxi will be dispatched to pick you up.Due to security procedures in place at this time, your assigned vehicle cannot, by law, wait at the curb for you.
