The Thomas Harriot College of Arts and
Sciences and The Department of Biology are pleased to announce the formation of the North
Carolina Center for Biodiversity (NCCB) at East Carolina University.
The central focus of NCCB activities will be to support and promote all
aspects of biodiversity research and education in North Carolina. The NCCB will
also serve the community of eastern North Carolina by providing educational
programs designed to engage citizens in issues related to the conservation of biodiversity
and its relevance to human health and quality of life.
