Programming

Every school is required to submit 1 program for every 5 delegates (excluding NCCs, NRHH Reps, and advisors)

Programming at NCARH 2010 will consist of 6 different categories.

Plato’s Protégé

These will include programs that encompass what it means to be a leader and how to improve leadership skills. Topics may include conflict resolution, decision making, and recruitment ideas.

Utopian Engagement

These will include programs that show residents how to communicate and connect with the community effectively. Topics may include programs that involve the local children, working with local organizations and local schools.

Toga Parties

These will include programs on social interactions for residents. This may include topics like movie nights, ice-cream socials, and other events that help residents meet other residents.

Santorini Islands

These will include programs that focus of diversity and cultural issues; local and global.

Columns of Success

These will include programs that help improve and maintain campus organizations. Topics may include recruitment and retention, group dynamics and how to work alongside of the administration.

ART

These programs are focused on advising, group leadership, and administrative skills for our lovely advisors.

 

 
Programs will be held in on-campus academic buildings; Bate and the Science and Technology building.  All academic buildings on ECU’s campus are ADA compliant.
 

All rooms will have internet access. There are smart classrooms, whiteboards, moveable furniture, conference style seating, blackboards, projectors, TVs, outlets, and DVD hook-ups. The smallest room capacity is 40 persons. These will be available upon request during program submissions.
