I have found that there are seven different areas of my teaching acumen (quick, sharp, accurate thinking in the classroom at any moment) that are essential. I've named them the Big Seven. I've noticed through my time in the classroom, through time planning individually and collaboratively, and through my research, that these areas of the teaching profession are constantly at work in my mind and at play in my classroom. Take some time to think about which areas are your strengths and weaknesses. For strengths, see what's here to help you become even stronger.
