'Alice' and Me

... CONGRATULATIONS to Chris McDonald and Katie's Hummel on their wedding - this photo was taken prior to it!

The beautiful summer day was moreso due to my beautiful friends. To the nosy folks, 'Alice' and i are just friends, who enjoy encouraging each individual's unique expressions of self (in style and otherwise).

This is something i had presented in a social psych class .... i looked it up because it really stuck with me. I have expanded on the presented theory, to include additional factors, elements and pathways. You can view my expansion here.

Also, i find interesting the elements of Energy, Wisdom, Personal Choice and Cooperation involved in activating each side of the triangle.

I really liked the text echo effect. Heh, i even kept all the layers in the original .psp format, so i can re-adjust the levels later. This was what prompted Jenny to ask me to updo her photo (below). November 2005

The spots make me think of SJS, bullet wounds and acid-burned holes in blotting paper. April 2007

Jen's Christmas Present

I met Jenny while working for L'Arche, Stratford, she worked at Caritas i think.... anyhow, i took up coop at Health Canada, and she with L'Arche Ottawa and so we crossed paths in Ottawa a couple times. Anyhow, the idea was to get these lyrics to overlay and compliment a picture of her... it wasn't great for overall cohesiveness... a little choppy, but the couch, airbrushing and text contrast were accomplishments i liked in the final product.
