When I was a little girl, I sat on Santy's knee pre Christmas in the local department store.
I was in awe of this being; so God-like! He asked me a question .
A pivotal question, as it turns out. "What do you want?"

Decades later, I had the same experience as I walked into a room about to begin a Meditation training.
There was the same question; "What do you want?"

As a small child, my mother used to say to me;
"you can't have what you want, you know, just because you want it".
Bafflement. You can in my universe, I thought!
