Well, this tale is a warning to you all.

When making arrangements yesterday with detecting friends to arrange a meeting place. The instructions were very clear, when you get into the area give me a call and i will come down the farm track and meet you, and then escort you to the fields that are to be detected. I made sure they had the mobile contact number.

The day arrived and the early arrivals were in place and detecting. I then checked my mobile phone for any messages from the late arrivals ..... that was when i realised my mistake! I hadn't taken my mobile phone with me that day......i'd left it at home!!!

Embarrassment all round!
