On Thursday 11th August, we wound our way to Wendover in Buckinghamshire, to attend the Weekend Wanderers midweek rally.
It was a beautiful day on freshly scuffed fields, with some great signals. The views were fantastic looking Westwards and it wasn't long before the interesting finds started to appear. Charles 2nd coinage, Georgian, Roman were all found.

For us, it was a day of frustration, but yet there were still a few nice finds to be had. I particularly like the button with the Fleur de Lys symbol and the Clasp decoration.
