To make up a kimono please look here.  The white pieces for the Shinigami kimono do not apply for the standard kimono here.

The measurements for the back, front and sleeves are also different:

Back 35cm x 154cm for floor length and 35cm x 184cm for train length.  Cut one with the centre back on the fold.

Front:  26cm x 154cm for floor length and 26cm x 184cm for train length - remember the front is shaped.  Cut two.

Sleeve:  38cm x 118cm.  Cut two with the top (38cm) on the fold.

To make the kimono for a bigger size, extend the back and front width ways.

Kimono

Black kimono:  this kimono is made of gold embroidered black satin with plain black satin for the front panel, collar and tie.

Green kimono:  this kimoni has organza over the plain green taffatta sleeve.  The body is made from embroidered taffatta.

Brown and gold kimono:  this kimono is made from crepe backed satin.  Sleeves, collar and tie are in gold.
