About me

I'm a language professional with EFTA in Brussels, currently on leave from my academic position as Associate Professor of Sociolinguistics at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. My research interests include minority languages, language policies and planning, and citizen science. I am a member of the Royal Dutch Academy for Science's (KNAW) De Jonge Akademie, and of the Young Academy Groningen.
