Nancy Burks Worcester is a storyteller, actress, author and ventriloquist from Granbury, Texas.  An accomplished and award-winning ventriloquist, Nancy has appeared at thousands of schools and churches from Palm Beach Florida to Fresno California as well as the American School in Tampico, Mexico.  She was the keynote speaker in 2004 for the New York State "Women in Fire" Conference in Montour Falls, NY and last year co-emceed the Children's Pastors Conferences in California, Kansas, and Georgia with Dennis Lee.

      As a storyteller Nancy has headlined storytelling festivals across the southwest and has a story included in Best Stories Told at the Texas Storytelling Festival as well as several books of scripts for ventriloquists and other puppeteers.  She also wrote and starred in the video series “That Safety Show” produced by the Carrollton (Texas) fire department, and co-authored and co-starred in “The Nana Puddin Show.”    Published articles about her craft include the publications “The Barker” (for ventriloquists) and “Speaking of Fire” (for fire protection educators).

       The mother of grown children as well as several foam ones, Nancy lives in Granbury with her firefighter husband Lt. Terry Worcester.
