Sensei Willoughby returned from the Isle of Man after having taken part in the IOMKF Open. He came 1st in the Senior Mens Kata and was also a member of the winning team in the Senior Mens Team Kumite. Photos will be posted on this site and videos will be available on YouTube shortly. This was his first competition in 10 years.

Also on the External Links page is a link to accentmas.co.uk, formerly known as karate-kid.co.uk; the name change is to reflect the growing catalogue of products offered, that are not pure karate, and of course to give a home to the popular ACCENT branded karategi range, black belts, embroidery and printed garments.

I have recently returned from Spain where I was lucky enough to visit a Capoeira Club situated in Marbella. Thank you to the members of the club for their hospitality.

R.I.P. David Macintyre 5th Dan Shukokai (1956-2009) Sadly David Macintyre 5th Dan Shukokai passed away on the morning of 19th October 2009.
