Gnuland: joke's stuff under GPL

Here are a couple of projects that I have been working on and releasing via alt.sources and comp.sources.misc since 1992. First I used GPL (version 1) to cover their rights, now all of these tools are covered by GPL (version 2). Since I am about to have most of these register in GNU's Savannah site, so this site might go away soon...


atari

The free Sosobon C (SCC) compiler for my Atari ST, which I modified to cross compile on my Suns.


b2c

b2c, converts binary to C files to compile them into your programs, see the examples provided in the package.


beat

beat, print the Internet time (@500 is 1200 GMT) that Swatch invented for their Internet watches.


bell

bell, rings the margin bell. (Long time ago, when Minix was just released Andrew tanenbaum had a contest about the shorted useful program for Minix, this is my entry, which works on all systems that have a C compiler.)


bijou

bijou is a a set of tools to produce "codelets" from source code, to be included in LaTeX documents, very much in the fashion of inserting Postscript figures.

dax

dax, data extraction tool and expandable C library that also wraps around your stdio lib, providing data extraction capabilities based on regular expressions and any user supplied data manipulation function/filter written as a dax filter.

patchbase, simple shell script to recursively patch a "baseurl=" defintion into a set of HTML files. You can undo your changes with the unpatchbase script provided.

popme, simple POP3 client for those who fail to configure fetchmail, or just want a light weight POP3 thing to trigger events via mailboxes like I do with my fleuds.


spid

spid, simple shell script to spider a website and email the result to the maintainer using wget.
