 
Why did I chose this name???
Well if you or anyone you know has been married to someone in the military you know that wives are not standard issued gear. They are told they were given a sea bag and not a wife. Well the first 2 years my husband and I were married we were pretty much apart. We were apart at least that first year and many months after that. Both of our kids were even born without him! Two days after our 2nd anniversary he left for 6 months and returned at 2 years 6 months and2 days. So we have been apart most of our marriage. That is why I say he is married to the Navy and I am his mistress. Since we have been on 2 ships I have went through 2 yard periods. At first they seem wonderful then when things get back together he is gone a lot again. So once agin... I feel like the mistress! |
