SUNDAY SCHOOL NEWS!

Greetings Norway Lutheran Church Families! We hope that you are enjoying a blessed, relaxing and fun summer. We are ramping up now for a fantastic Sunday School year and have many things to share!

On-line registration begins July 31. Just click on Forms under the Sunday School tab. You may also register your child by filling out a registration form available in fellowship hall or in the Sunday School office.

The average cost of operating our Sunday school program is $9,000. This includes curriculum, classroom supplies, and presentation Bibles. If we divide this operating cost by the number of students (250), the cost per child is $36. We ask for a $15 family donation for this quality program. For your convenience you can make your donation on-line via credit card after you register.


The high school class will work in combination with our youth director and staff. Grades six, seven, and eight reinforce the confirmation education schedule. All children grade 5 and younger will follow the same weekly lessons with the Sparks curriculum. The outline of lessons will be available on our Sunday School calendar. We hope that this information reinforces family conversations .

We also need additional Sunday School classroom staff this fall. Each classroom is staffed with two adults and the curriculum provides a great deal of support. Please prayerfully consider joining the effort to encourage God's Love in our young members.

The Sunday School calendar is also available on-line. Please note that the presentation of Bibles to our 3rd graders will be on September 18 at the 10:30 service. The Kindergarteners and 1st graders will also receive a Bible during their Sunday School session on September 18th.
