My second Max Ride Fanfic which you can start to read from here: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4305914/1/
About: Flock member deaths. Angel and Nudge are gone and it seems Gazzy is hit the hardest. Even the emotionless Fang tries to show a comforting side. It's devastating, but Itex isn't getting away with what they've done and the remaining flock will eventually get their sweet revenge. Like every Max Ride fanfic I write, I promise FAX! Shadows of the Flock Facts:
***Warning!!! Here there be spoilers if you haven't read the latest chapter!!! Entire Story Facts: -Sadly, this story is loosely based on the suffering I did with my friends when two of our friends got killed in a car accident. Death is something hard to grasp. Facts by Chapters: Chapter 1: -"I wrapped my arms around him, feeling very childish." I remember standing at one of the funerals for one of my friends. I did feel very childish because I'm never the one to ever cry. Chapter 2: -Staring at the ceiling. Staring at the floor. That seems to happen a lot in all of my fanfictions. But sometimes staring at the ceiling or the floor just helps you think. -"Still, he did bump into the occasional chair or wall." It's sort of a joke I guess. I put it in there because my friend said, "Occasionally, you bump in a chair or a wall. Most of the time, you're falling." -"Angel had really liked bacon and I suppose he was remembering that now." I remember after my two friends died, we always talked about them like they were still alive. We'd be like, "Oh he likes that team a lot" instead of "he liked that team a lot". I decided not to do that here because, well, let's not get too depressing. -“You don’t like eggs,” Iggy replied to Max when she asked for them. “Fang does,” [she] answered shortly. I used to ask for things I didn't want for my friends and people would be like, "you don't like that" and I'll be like, "well when (that person) comes back, they'll want it". -“What’s so good ‘bout morning?” asks Gazzy in this chapter. I often reply with that. Chapter 3: -"Death is actually a strange thing, once you think about it. It was like the person or people who died were just there and then they were swept away in a snap. A flick of the wrist. Almost." Max says. I actually said that about death when my two friends died. Chapter 4: -Max is blaming herself for Nudge and Angel's deaths. Of course, after the death of our two friends, everyone at school needed something to blame. Of course, we pointed to ourselves, even though in reality, there was nothing we could do at all. Chapter 5: -Universal, my absolute favorite theme park in the whole world. Unfortunately, I would have rather in in the one in Florida, but the one in Hollywood has all the filming studio and tours. Either way, pretty cool. Chapter 6: -Silence is golden, but duct tape is silver. In AMC cinemas, it says "silence is golden" before the movie starts. Someone always says duct tape is silver. Usually it's me. And everyone around usually sniggers. I couldn't help but put that in here. -Becca is named after this annoying girl in my school. It's best you don't let me elaborate on why everyone either hates or loves her. -I wrote this chapter a couple months before my boyfriend dumped me. I was sitting at his lunch table once and his friend gave him a cookie, so I went, "Can I have one?" because his friend is also my friend and neighbor. His friend goes, "No, you're a Red Sox fan," because his friend is a yankee fan. Then my BF goes, "So am I" and the cookie was handed over to me in defeat. Chapter 7: -"It wasn’t a lie, but it certainly wasn’t the whole truth either." Don't you love not telling the whole truth? It's how I get away with everything. -Brad, named after that idiot Brad Pitt who I personally don't like at all. Chapter 8: -I mentioned not being able to see the stars because where I love, you're lucky if you can have a clear night to read the constellations. Chapter 9: -Waterworld is one of my favorite attractions in Universal Hollywood. I thought it deserved to be mentioned. -"Yea...Good times," Max says. This is, again, another infamous quote from my best friend. -Japenese tourists. They were a ton of them there when I went in November. -The Jurassic Park ride is one of my least favorite rides, since I hate heights, but I thought it would be amusing to put it into the story. -I decided to make Max buy the pictures because in all truth, in my life, looking back at years books I love to laugh at the pictures. Chapter 10: -Max mentions how food is expensive in the theme park. Of course, she's right because I always end up with no money at the end when we leave. Chapter 11: -“PAYBACK BABY!” Iggy shouts. A personal quote when people ask I would want to do something bad to someone. Chapter 12: -It was fun writing that scene where the flock is trying to guess the password on the Itex computers. I sit at school sometimes and skip out on a class to do that and try to hack in onto people's accounts. Chapter 13: -On the news in this fanfiction, Sen. Obama and McCain are being talked about. I personally wish the news would talk about something else. Go Ralph Nader! -Fighting happens between friends, just like Fang and Iggy. Although I had this one fight with my best friend and it turned us into enemies. Chapter 14: -Unlike my ex-best friend, Iggy was sorry for what he did. Forgiveness is something you need if you want to be my friend. -While death can tear people apart, it can also bring people together like Fang and Max. Chapter 15: -Fang talks about moving on in this chapter. It's something I'm not good at doing. I don't think I've moved on from a lot of things yet. |
