Daughter of Emma and Pascal, Mylène began riding at the age of 6 after moving to PEMMbrook farm in June of 2002. Her love of horses grew and after a couple of years of learning to ride various horses in the barn, she now focuses on riding her young horse Lunar Eclipse, a 5 yo gelding that was born on the farm in 2003 and a school master The Babe, an 18 year-old Canadian-Selle Francais gelding that is a confirmed Level 3 horse. She and Eclipse made their debut summer of competition in 2007 and did very well at Training Level finishing the season as part of the Junior Jeux Equestre de Quebec team. She competed with her team and this intense inter-regional competition held at the beautiful equestrian park in Bromont, proudly being the only one of her team to finish in the top 10 out of a class of 30 riders. In 2008, Mylène turned her attention to The Babe and did a full show season with him, finishing Junior Champion Level 1 and again qualified for a spot on the Jeux Equestre team. Now, her new goal is to compete with Eclipse at Level 2 in 2009. Mylène is also actively involved with the daily running of the barn and is responsible to help feed, clean and turnout horses  |  |
