Details

After selecting a grade level and subject area, use the drawing tools in PowerPoint to create a classroom layout for a technology-enhanced classroom.   Review the common classroom configurations described on pages 25-32 for ideas. You will also want to re-read the characteristics of technology in learner-centered environments on pages 21-23 in your text.

After creating your classroom layout, you will link it to the Productivity Tools page on your website and discuss the following for your reflection:

  • Keeping your audience in mind (parents and/or students), give a narrative for your classroom layout - why you chose the design, what are the highlights of the room, how it reflects the needs of the learners and of the curriculum. This should take 1-2 paragraphs to describe.

Please review the rubric below for details on what is required. If you can not demonstrate one of the components visually within your classroom layout, you will need to make sure to discuss it within your reflection.
