This small and very much unfinished site is where I will be keeping work that I finish in the software that I use. While I am by any means to experienced in any of them, I have been improving my skills and discovering so much about them. Since I had very little patience with a pencil and paper, I decided to turn my attention to my computer to express my imagination. The first program I came across was Poser 6. At $200+ it was way to expensive for me, seeing as I was only 13 and living off a $7.50 allowance.

After a bit of searching I had come across DAZ Studio, or D|S for short. Since it was free, I was enthralled from the start. The fact it came with a quite detailed dragon model thrilled me as well. When I ventured over to their homepage to expand the content that the program came with I was delighted at the considerably low prices of the figures in contrast to the detail that they had. I remember looking over the figures at Turbosquid and was disgusted at the pricing. $700 for an untextured, unrigged dinosaur when there were almost 17 of the exact same thing on the same site? Ridiculous. Then there was the Tyrannosaurus by Dinoraul at DAZ. Significantly more detailed, a lot more accurate, and at a fraction of the cost. It may be worth pointing out that I recently discovered a good number of the figures on the site were in fact pirated and illegal.

Over the next several years, I spent time collecting content from the site, and expanded my toolset with Bryce and Carrara6.2 Pro. I must admit I was intimidated by Carrara's interface at first, and stuck to D|S. After some time, I began to feel more and more comfortable with Carrara and less and less comfortable with D|S. I gained more experience with this application and soon began to do all my work within it.

Later in the years, I also purchased Vue7 Esprit and eventually Poser 6. Vue made the creation of believable landscapes infinitely easier, but I still used Carrara for most of my work as I was determined to become familiar with it before expanding my skills to other applications. Currently the software I own is as listed: Carrara6.2 Pro, Hexagon 2.5, Bryce 6, Poser 6, D|S 3, Cinema 4D Core, Blender 2.44, and Vue7 Esprit.

After all said, I am an active member of the DAZ3D community with the username of Rezca, and spend much of my time helping others where I can and looking for chances to broaden my techniques and the usage of my tools.
