The concrete floor has been poured for Minco Historical Society's new museum.  Society group members checking out the progress are Gary Chester, Bill Ocker, Marvin Woodworth, Phil Richardson, Chris Johnson, Carol Anthony, and Virginia Hays.

Zoomed in view from street looking N-NE.

On left near alley is the Domino Club building, which will remain there.
In middle behind the lot is the old blacksmith shop.

Looking directly north from main street.   The red, white, and blue building on the corner has been bought by Jacob Browning, Bobby (class of 56) Browning's son, and will be a restaurant.

Looking south along the west edge of the museum floor.  The necessary plumbing for the restroom was added prior to pouring the concrete.   The building is set back 5 feet from each side of the lot.

Looking east along the present rear propery line.  The present property consists of 2 front half lots.  The Society will acquire the remainder of the 2 back half lots from the presently owned property (that the concrete floor is on) to the alley, and the back half lot that the blacksmith shop is on.

In other words, we'll own 2.5 lots.    We won't own the 1/2 lot the restaurant sits on.
