Year-End Trophy Banquet Planned for Jan 16, 2010

We are planning our Year-End Trophy Banquet for Saturday, January 16, 2010.  We were not able to get a suitable location planned out for Nov/Dec time so mid-January it will be.  We are currently discussing locations and will post it once known.

Final Points Event of 2009...Thank You For a GREAT Season.

We held our final points event of 2009 at Kil-Kare on Sunday, Oct. 18 by waking up to sub-freezing temperatures.  Luckily the day was sunny and soon was reaching the low 50s.  We had 47 drivers attend and all got 7 runs, with the final heat of the day taking an extra long time due to some battery issues with the timing equipment.  Here are the Final Results and Raw Results!  Again for this event, Tom Thieman took top honors with the fastest time of day (FTD) running in TTB...Great Job Tom!  Other class winners included Doug Roberts (TTA), Ashley Ervin (TTD), Kenneth Moist (TTE),Steve Miller (TTF) Mimi Villani (TTFL), Andy Ciarniello (TTG) and Byron Ditmer (F125) a big congrats to you all!  Thank you all for attending and making this club possible.  We are looking for dates for the Year End Trophies to be given.  Tentatively set it for Dec 12, but this to change to maybe earlier in November since we do not want to have to wait till January again.

Rain Soaked Points Event #5 Results in Slick Event

Our Points Event #5 on Sunday the 20th started dry but by the beginning of the second heat became a rain soaked event.  The first heat cleaned off the dust and marbles from the previous night's drift event, but by the first couple cars in the second heat rain was falling constantly.  We took a rain break after the second heat got done sliding around the course.  For the afternoon it became a if you want to run, then go ahead and get as many runs as workers will work the course.  To see the results click:   Final Results,  Raw Results and PAX Results (appoximate).

Points Event #4 with AMAZING weather for August!

We had our 4th points event of the year with weather that felt more like October than late August!  With cool temps and dry weather everyone was excited for the event.  Congrats to Tom Thieman for taking the Fast Time of Day (FTD), below is a pic of him running an event last year!  For the results click to see the Final Results,  Raw Results and PAX Results (appoximate).

New MVSCC NASA-X Calculator Spreadsheet

We have developed a NASA-X classifier spreadsheet for making it easier to find your NASA-X class.  This is spreadsheet is available from this link NASA-X Classifier.  All you have to do is look up the NASA base class for your car from the NASA-X Base Class Sheet.  Then open the NASA-X base class in the NX base class block of the classifier then start adding your mods to the sheet. If you are having troubles with the spreadsheet version there is NASA provided PDF version to calculate the NASA-X class.

New NASA-X Rule Set and Classifications for 2009 Season
