MVMS Parents’ Council 2011–2012 Membership Dues Spring Drive -- WE NEED YOU! ![]() Together as a team, teachers, administration and the PCO have a commitment to the best possible Veteran’s School experience for your child. The PCO’s role in that is through the enrichment programs offered to our children, which are not part of the school budget.
In order to fund these programs, MVMS PCO raises support annually through the time we volunteer at the Magic Hat and membership dues that families pay at the beginning of each year. As a result of the majority of families becoming members of the PCO to help support our children, we are all free to spend the rest of the year supporting our children’s educational experience rather than fundraising! Just a few of the things your PCO membership dues help fund each year: Enrichment programs – Rebel Shakespeare program, Gr8 Amazing Race, 8th grade Boston Trip, just to name a few Student Recognition -- Project Adventure, Battle of the Books, Rafting Day, Cornerstones, Ovations and many others Teacher Needs -- Greek Festival, World Language Department Week, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon Student Directory -- directory distributed to entire school Knowing how important your donations are to our children, please be as generous as you can. All proceeds will go directly to supporting the kids!
