  • SQUIRES…our FOOD DRIVE HAS BEGUN!  The van will be available for cramming food right away!  Remember, we are competing against grade levels.  Let’s see which grade can bring in the MOST FOOD!  We challenge you to bring two items to school to donate.  Together we can donate over 2000 items just by doing that!  If you can, we'd greatly appreciate it!

  • Staff, local businesses are having great prices for a family Thanksgiving dinner.  If you are willing to donate a meal, please let Mrs. Mach know.  Donations will need to be picked up and purchased no later than Monday, November 23rd.

  • ASB REPRESENTATIVES…your FIRST meeting will be held after school on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10th!  We can’t wait to get together!

  • Our FUNDRAISER ITEMS will be available for pickup THIS THURSDAY until 7pm.  Please make sure and PICK UP YOUR ITEMS!  We don't want to have to give your items away for a food donation!

  • Looking ahead to NEXT WEEK...we will be having TWO DAYS worth of ASSEMBLIES, both on Monday and Tuesday, as well AS NO SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY in recognition for Veteran's Day.  Looks like it'll be a fun-filled week!

Congratulations to the following Mountain View students who were accepted to be a part of the 2010 Washington All State Junior Choir...Justin Gould, Shaylyn Joice, Kinsey Reed, and Bethany Schippers.  These students will be traveling to Yakima in February to sing with other fine singers from across Washington!  Way to go!

More congratulations are in order for the following 6th grade students who were accepted to be part of the 2010 Washington All State Youth Choir!  Olivia Aylsworth, William Beliakoff, Connor Phillips, and Nikki Rogers.  These students will be traveling to Yakima as well in February to sing with other singers from across the state!  Nice work, ladies and gentlemen!

Squires...do you want to learn how to beat box, break dance, and how to be an effective performer?  Come build your confidence at this new club starting here at MVMS!  This will be a safe place to express yourself through rhyme, rhythm, song and dance.  Come to the choir room on Thursdays after school beginning THIS THURSDAY!  You will be expected to participate if you attend!

  •   Squires, please remember to be SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE!  Now that we've "fallen" back on time, we can get our bodies to stay focused more.  Thanks for all you've done to follow the CODE of the SQUIRES!
