SQUIRES…our FOOD DRIVE BEGINS TOMORROW!  We will be collecting canned food, non-perishable foods (pasta, dry foods, etc), and pet food!  We will be collecting food ON THE STAGE!  Each grade level will have their own area to put their items on. The leadership class, ASB and the PTA is coming up with great ideas on how we will compete with each grade level.  The winning class might have an ice-cream reward.  We’re looking at bringing in the LARGEST donation ever!  We want the newspaper reporters to come and do a community piece on us, so LET’S STEP UP AND DONATE!  Our food drive goes until Monday, November 23rd.
 
7th and 8th Grade guys...Are you interested in playing basketball?  Tryouts will begin on Monday October 26th at 3:00 in the gym.  Athletic packets must be complete (including your physical) and turned into the office before you can try out.  When you make the team, you will also need to purchase your ASB CARD before you can play.  Athletic packets are available in the main building. 

 

  • HEY SQUIRES…YOUR PTA will be hosting a SQUIRE COSTUME BALL NEXT FRIDAY!  Just over ONE WEEK LEFT!!  We look forward to having our FIRST EVER COSTUME BALL!  You will be able to purchase your tickets this week and next week.  We hope you all can come! 

 

  • Our Squire Choir will be having their first concert of the year TONIGHT at 7pm at Bremerton High School.  We invite you to come and enjoy the talents of our Squires!

 

 

·        Our lady Squires will be leaving the Castle today for a game against McMurray Middle School.  Good luck, Ladies!  We’ll be thinking of you!

 

 

  • PINK LIDS FOR THE CURE…Mrs. Olson is collecting the pink Yoplait yogurt lids again this year and she needs your help to raise money for cancer research.  We saved almost 1000 lids last year.  As of yesterday, we are now up to 200 lids!  We're slowly collecting them.    

 

 

·        Picture re-takes are THIS FRIDAY…TOMORROW during lunch.  You will only get your picture taken if you bring back the package you ordered or if you haven’t had your picture taken this year.

 

 

  • SQUIRES, our FIRST PEP ASSEMBLY will be TOMORROW!  Tomorrow is COLOR WAR DAY!  6th grade wears white, 7th grade wears blue and 8th grade wears blue, white, and black!  Have fun and go wild on your outfits!

 

 

  •  Squires, next week we will have CONNECTIONS EVERY DAY.  This will help us all prepare for our student-led conference.  Again, no enhancement classes, we will have Connections instead. 

 

  •   Squires, please remember to be SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE!  Your ASB officers would like to challenge each of us to introduce ourselves to someone we don’t know.  What a great way to make people feel welcomed and feel like they belong!
