Mountain View Middle School is excited to offer compeditive athletics to our 7th and 8th grade students. We are members of the West Sound Athletic League. Game times and locations can be found on our calendar on the school home page and on the MVMS Events Calendar which is linked to the navigation bar on the left. The sports that are offered include:
Football
Volleyball
Boys Basketball
Girls Basketball
Wrestling
Fastpitch Softball
Track.
The seasons for football and volleyball have completed. We are very proud of our squires. The football team finished the season in second place. Our lady squires volleyball team earned a league co-championship with only one loss this season.
Our athletic director is Carol Clingan. Any questions about our program can be directed to her at (360)473-0676.
Sports packets and WIAA physical forms can be picked up in the main office or downloaded from the link at the bottom of this page. When the packets are completed, students turn them in to Ms. Clingan in A-104. In order to particiate in the athletics program, students are required to purchase an ASB card for $25. This is a one-time fee.
Legislation has been passed requiring parents to sign a concussion information form. This form has been attached to the bottom of this page and must be completed in order for students to participate.
While it is wonderful that we have achieved success on the compeditive field this year, the true focus of our athletics program is to foster character, integrity, and discipline. All of our student atheletes have represented our school with honor and pride. |
