-MSP (WASL)-

The state of Washington has elected to change the standardized testing. The WASL has been changed to the MSP (Measurement of Student Progress).
 
Mountain View Middle School has been chosen to pilot the MSP in digital form. The Mathematics and Reading tests will be taken on the computer and sent dititally to the state. All of the 6-8 students will take these assessments unless specified as an accomodation in a Individual Education Plan.
 
The state has provided a demo and tutorial that are available for download. The link below opens a page with download materials of the demo and tutorial on the online MSP that MVMS will be taking.  The questions are not WA questions and are not tagged to WA standards The purpose of the downloads  is to get the user familiar with the interface for the online testing .
 

The first step is to down load the software on your desktop and then run it to install it.

Save it to your desktop and then double click and install the software.  Once it is installed, you will see two programs on your desktop, click on the … “WA Online Testing” to go to the front page, or click on “WA Online Demos” to go through the demo.
