FFA Officers


MACTC FFA Officers help determine the Chapter Program of Activities and serve as the executive board of the MACTC FFA. Duties of individual officers are listed below.

President- Leads all chapter meetings and regularly planned activities. Serves as a non-voting member of all committees.

Vice-President- Serves as a non-voting member of all standing committees and assumes the duties of the president if the president is unable to do so.

Secretary- Responsible for keeping minutes of all meetings and making those minutes available to members. Also serves as the chair and non-voting member of the Student Develop Committee.

Treasurer- Keeps track of chapter expenses (with advisor) and delivers treasurer's report at all chapter meetings. Serves as the chair and non-voting member of the Chapter Development Committee.

Reporter- Develops and publishes a monthly chapter newsletter and submits articles to NC FFA Association, local newspapers, and FFA New Horizons. Serves as the chair and non-voting member of the Community Development Committee.

Sentinel- Maintains chapter supplies and recommends new supplies for the chapter. Assists the president with implementing the POA and other items.

Historian - Develop a chapter scrapbook to record the chapters history and prepares display of chapter activities.
