A Saturday Evening of Song featured the talents of Voices in Accord, a local mixed harmony group, and Hermitage School Choir, a local school choir with children aged between 7 and 11 who treated the audience to a variety of numbers including well-known pieces, such as "Any Dream Will Do", "The Rhythm of Life" and "Do-Re-Mi".  The evening also featured Jonathan Pippen, a trombonist from the RAF Central Band, who played a couple of solo numbers, including "Cavatine" by Saint-Saens.
