Nadina Quartet

The Nadina Quartet - Saturday 15th November 2008

The title for this concert was "A Little Night Music" - a journey through musical history from Bach to the Beatles - presented by the Nadina Quartet, a string quartet.  The first half of the concert opened with Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Divertimento Kochel No. 138 expertly performed by the quartet. The second half of the concert featured several pieces chosen by the audience from a selection offered and featured a variety of pieces ranging from Handel's Water Music to the Harry Lime Theme and The Beatles' Eleanor Rigby.  This was interspersed with talks by Pam Pearce, who made the viola and cello used by the group, on the making of stringed instruments.

Proceeds from this concert were donated to Sightsavers.
