 I found this unknown body in a music store, three single coil pick-ups, wiring harness, but nothing else. Some months later, I went into the same music store, and they had a short-scale bass neck. Exactly the parts I needed, I eventually bought a trapeze style string thing, tune-o-matic style bridge, and tuners. Now I just have to decide on a headstock shape - I was considering something with straight string pull across the nut, but that does not give a more majestic shape that I was looking for either. One or the other, lately I've been thinking of a slotted type, not too unlike a classical, but different! |
