Wow! I've found some cool things over the years, Some I've never seen again, others - only rarely. And just last week I got a simple, black web with "leather" ends and Guild embossed on the front "leather" tab. This will go great with my black S-28? I already had a brown leather acoustic guitar strap that I use for my F-4CE. A nice color match with the "mahogany" colored top. The two straps I haven't noticed before or since, when I see more - you can believe I'll be bidding on them. Another leather, or suede item was this vest that I spied. It too was a "buy-it-now", and at less than $10 and $5 shipping - it was mine when I saw it. The seller described it as: "a
beautifull black suede like vest with satin back. The vest has only been tried
on, never worn or gigged in. This was given to me by the local Guild sales rep,
these are not offered for sale that I know of. There is also an adjustable back
strap to dial in that perfect fit! The guild logo is embroidered onto the front
as can be noted in the picture." It's a little too snug for me, I can't button it, but I could wear it open - but it'll be a special occasion! Next on my list is a "crystal" lucite pick box. My wife asked what I wanted for my birthday - hint, hint! There are some "new" items, I'm sure they're not officially licensed Guild products - but the look pretty cool too. There are several versions of wall clocks - from Guild logos to pictures of guitar and bass headstocks. Unfortunately shipping is almost as much as the price, totaling about $25, and one of them is from Malaysia. |
