My name is Kevin Anderson. I am a full-time guitar instructor & music educator.
I've been teaching music for over 10 years, and I've been playing music for over 22 years. I learned how to read music on the violin when I was 9 years old. Since then, I've studied guitar, bass, trumpet, saxophone, piano/keyboard, drums, djembe, and mandolin, to name a few.  Basically anything I can get my hands on, although I haven't spent much time on the cowbell.  Yet. 

I believe that music lessons should be fun as well as educational, which is why I strive to be a fun, friendly and patient music teacher, and to create a positive, supportive, and comfortable learning atmosphere.  Lesson plans are custom designed for each student and I work with you to achieve your musical goals.

I specialize in beginners of all ages, children, teenagers, and adults, as well as the more advanced guitarist.  Some of the areas we can focus on: proper technique and fundamentals, music theory, reading and interpretation, improvisation, learning great songs, and how to play along with others, an important part of becoming a well-rounded musician.
