ITALIAN CARS, MOTORCYCLES AND SCOOTERS ON DISPLAY AT VIVA ITALIA-CONCOURS ON THE LAWN 

Sunday September 13th is the date for the 1st Annual Viva Italia – Concours on the Lawn, a gathering of owners and aficionados of Italian cars, motorcycles, and scooters, as well as those who enjoy Italian Culture. The event is to be held from 11am till 4pm at the Belle Meade Plantation. Viva Italia – Concours on the Lawn hopes to become one the largest outdoor gatherings of new, late model, and vintage Italian automobiles, motorcycles and scooters in the Southeast. The event is being hosted by the Tennessee Region of the Ferrari Club of America, the Music City Desmo Owners Club, and the Amerigo Vespucci Society. With free parking and $5 spectator admittance, everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a day of interesting automobiles, motorcycles, scooters and Italian food and culture.

The cars and motorcycles that are participating in the event will be arrive at the Belle Meade Plantation around approximately 11:30am from their morning driving / riding tour. They will be parking in the fenced in Concours Lawn area. Upon the completion of parking, the Concours area will be opened to the public. The vehicles will be on display from noon until 3pm and will be participating in a People Choice Award judging. During this time period, the area to the right of the carriage barn will be the location for many activities. These activities will include great Italian food available for purchase from Café Coco’s Italian Market and free Italian music. Many of our sponsors will have displays at the event including Global Motorsports with a collection of new Ferraris and Maseratis and Bloodworth Motorcycles with a selection of Ducati Motorcycles and Vespa & Piaggio Scooters. The event will end at 3pm with the awarding of the People’s Choice Awards.

We are excited to announce that proceeds from Viva Italia-Concours on the Lawn will be going to the Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit, ecumenical Christian organization committed to providing families with the life-changing opportunity to purchase and own decent, affordable homes.

White went on to say “If anyone ever wanted to see a nice collection of exotic Italian four- and two-wheeled vehicles, eat great Italian food and enjoy Italian music, Viva Italia – Concours on the Lawn will be the place to be.
