car1All proceeds benefit The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation. Founded in 1987, The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that serves adults with cancer throughout the Southeastern United States. Our mission is to improve the lives of adults affected by cancer through support, education and access to clinical research in the community. The foundation is named after "Minnie Pearl", the charming Grand Ole Opry character established by legendary comedienne, Sarah Cannon. As a cancer survivor, Sarah knew first-hand the value of hope and compassion after a cancer diagnosis. As Minnie, she brought joy to others with her humor, engaging personality and wonderful heart. We honor her memory by emulating the warmth, kindness and genuine caring that she demonstrated throughout her life.

"A great event and likely a tradition in the making for the Foundation. I'm like a kid in a candy store, with a smile all the way home."
– David Spigel, M.D.

"As a beginner, The Minnie Challenge was as much fun as I have ever had on my motorcycle! Can't wait until next year’s event!"
Trent McCormack

"After riding and racing motorcycles for over 30 years, I must say, The Minnie Challenge is more than a 'Trackday'. Looking forward to your next event for sure!"
Mark Stringer
WERA Expert #93
2004-2005-2007 Southeast & Mid-Central Regional Champion

"If I could, I would change my last name to ‘Andretti’, ‘Waltrip’ or at least ‘Mitty’.  For a novice like me, who had never driven on a race track, it was the thrill of a lifetime.  Knowing that my thrill benefited others not so fortunate brought greater satisfaction to the experience!"
Eddie Lunn

"I really enjoyed the day and it was for a great cause.  I had a wonderful instructor, Tim Miner, and learned a lot from him.  That day was a turning point in giving me a good basic knowledge of handling my car and boosting my confidence.  I am a member of the Nashville Corvette Club and have used my new skills during the past year to compete in low speed and high speed events and I am having a blast!"
Cindy Dill

"I received more than I paid for my trackday experience! I took some laps in a Corvette with a professional driver, rode my bike all day, and made some new friends!"
David Briley
